Wat is er verbeterd t.o.v. de originele unit:
- Unit is beschermd tegen overspanning (defecte spanningsregelaar, slechte accu, gebruik van een jumpstarter).
- Unit is beschermd tegen een defecte bobine.
- Unit is beschermd tegen het ompolen van de accu.
- Unit is voorzien van een acceleratiecorrectie, zodra de motor accelereert wordt de vervroeging in verhouding vergroot. Zodoende pakt de motor beter op tijdens acceleratie.
- De vervroegingscurve is door de moderne digitale techniek veel nauwkeuriger en verder geoptimaliseerd wat resulteert in meer vermogen.
- Bij wisselende accuspanning wordt de aansturing van de bobine aangepast zodat er altijd een optimale vonk wordt gegenereerd.
- Door gebruik te maken van digitale techniek is de unit zeer nauwkeurig, ook bij temperatuurwisselingen.
- Startmode, tijdens het starten van de motor zorgt de unit er voor dat de bobine een iets krachtigere vonk genereert zodat de motor beter aanslaat.
- Carmo electronics kan ook een volledig programmeerbare versie aanbieden, zodat u zelf de vervroeging, toerenbegrenzer en de kracht van de vonk kunt bepalen.

Improved version from this well known ignition unit.

What's improved/better compared to the original unit:
- The unit is protected against overvoltage (defect voltage regulator/rectifier, bad battery, ...).
- The unit is protected against a defect ignition coil and reverse battery connection.
- The unit has a acceleration correction, when the bike rev's up the ignition delay will be a bit more (in proportion). Smoother acceleration.
- The unit uses digital technique, so it is more accurate and temperature changes have no influence, the curve is also optimized for more power.
- When the battery voltage changes the unit will change the control to the ignition coil so the spark power will stay the same.
- Start mode, during engine start the unit will give more current to the ignition coil for a faster start.
