The newly developed optional link pipe is made of high-quality stainless steel. The design features a standard front muffler, where the standard catalytic converter is removed, making gas flow less restrictive and aiding mid- and high-rpm performance. When paired with a Slip-On Line (Titanium), the combination increases power by 2.8 kW (3.8 hp) at 8,600 rpm and torque increases by 3.3 Nm at 7,100 rpm (when tested on the Akrapovič dyno compared to a stock Monster exhaust) while producing a deep, racing sound. The weight has been reduced by 3.8 kg, which is a saving of 80% compared to the standard version. Developed for use on closed circuit and racing circuits.
Installing the optional link pipe (SS) invalidates the EC/ECE type-approval of the Slip-On Line (Titanium).
