Akrapovič uses performance catalytic converters that give you all the sound and performance upgrades you've come to expect from Akrapovič exhaust systems. The catalyst is a honeycomb metal structure in which precious metals (palladium, rhodium and platinum) are incorporated into the surface. These metals convert the toxic carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbons in exhaust gases into non-toxic carbon dioxide and water vapor.
