Based on a design found in the superbike world, this exhaust features a lightweight titanium muffler outer sleeve and end cap that gives a true racing look. A stainless steel connecting pipe has resulted in a huge weight saving of 67.1% (3.9 kg) compared to the standard exhaust. Performance is improved by a power increase of 1.0 kW (1.3 hp) at 9,900 rpm and a torque gain of +1.0 Nm at 9,400 rpm, measured on the Akrapovič test bench. Part of the stunning racing design is the distinguishing feature of a hidden exhaust bracket, which is welded to the inside of the exhaust for an even sleeker and more integrated appearance within the lines of the motorcycle. Developed for use on closed-course competition circuits, this track-oriented system has a deep racing sound. Thanks to the simple plug and play installation, it does not need to be reinstalled.
